A former Delta state Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Engr. Lawrence Ejiofor, has congratulated immediate past governor of the state, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa on his recent appointment as the South-South Renewed Hope Initiative Coordinator, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The felicitation message was contained in a congratulatory statement by Engr. Ejiofor which reads:

I have no doubts whatsoever that this mandate and assignment which the President has bestowed on you, will open more progressive doors for the dividends of democracy to flow to the South South through the people oriented Renewed Hope Agenda and you will deliver competentently and completely, with your usual dedication, commitment , efficiency and sagacity.
