HRM Asagba of Asaba puts smile on the faces of 200 Widows in Asaba HRM Asagba Prof. Chigbogu Azinge. SAN, OON FNIALS, KSG, the 14th Asagba of Asaba, during his first Asagba in Council meeting announced the donation of #50,000 each to 200 Widows in Asaba as part of his Yuletide celebration. HRM enjoined Asaba indegenes to always remember the less privileged amongst us, most especially at this Christmas season. He commended Asaba sSons and Daughters at home and in diaspora for their tremendous support towards the development of the town. He urged them not to relent in their laudable efforts. According to HRM, “The Asaba land that we venerate so much,shall continue to reward each and everyone of you that extends a helping hand to your fellow brothers and sisters in need and for your contributions towards the betterment of Ani Ahaba”Furthermore, the Council approved the adoption of Leasehold as against Freehold, which had been the practice regarding land sale in Asaba. Security also featured prominently as HRM showered praises on the security agencies in the State and most importantly Asaba community Police for a job well done. He however urged them not to rest on their oars, noting that security is a continuous process that requires vigilance and intelligence gathering.
