In the tapestry of Fairness, justice and equity, Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi stand as both a beacon and a shield, for decades, woven with threads of resilience, courage, and unyielding compassion.
As a champion for the silenced, his voice has echoed in political rooms and hearts alike, calling for fairness, equity and the preservation of rights that belong to every political zones.
Through decades of struggles, he has not just fought for fair play to be upheld, but for the very essence of humanity to be recognized. His life’s work is a testament to the unbreakable spirit of those who dare to stand for what is right, even when the road is long and fraught with challenges. In the face of adversity, he remained unshaken, believing always that the scales of fairness, equity and justice, though at times tipped, can and will be balanced.
Today, he has demonstrated how grounded he was in Delta State and Nigerian Politics by educating Nigerians on some controversial issues and how to get out of the quagmire, most especially his own Anioma nation(Delta North) zonation and rumoured dissolution of Delta State APC Executives.
Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has been involved in active politics of Nigeria since 1978, there are very few politicians in this country that can say they are his senior politically. He always said that in politics, If you want peace you will consider the feelings of others and if you shoot an arrow on a stone, the mouth of that arrow may never be useful again in life. The Oracle of Delta State Politics said in his last press interview that three blocks that makes Delta North Constituency has done their twelve years. Therefore, as it stands now, it is the turn of the Ndokwa to produce the next Senator unless they do not have any capable person to do that.
If at all there is going to be a controversy, then is the Ika people that should run for Senate bearing in mind that their chances of Governorship might be over taking as it will become a contest between Ndokwa and Aniocha- Oshimili people when next it is the turn of Delta North to produce governor of Delta State. According to him it is morally wrong for Aniocha-Oshimili to contest for Senate come 2027, unless if we all wants to jettison the initial agreement of Justice, Fair play and Equity.
Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has also strongly condemned the alleged rumour that some person(s) are lobbying to destabilize the Delta State APC. In a press statement released on January 20, 2025, as an Authority in Politic, Senator Nwaoboshi said that no matter who is defecting to APC, nobody has the Constitutional right to dissolved an already constituted Delta State APC executive because of some group of person(s) who want to join APC, no matter the secret plotting with some elements in the Presidency to dissolve the Delta State APC Executives before their tenure expires, it can never come to fruition because such illegality does not end well, ditto what happened to our great party(APC) in Zamfara State in the 2019 General elections. We don’t pray for such because of personal gain.
Furthermore, Senator Nwaoboshi urge the National leadership of the APC and the Presidency to ignore any call for the dissolution of the Delta State Executive Committee of the party, as it is unconstitutional and motivated by personal gain. The National leadership should uphold the party’s constitution and democratic processes, rather than succumbing to the whims of individuals seeking to destabilize the party. He said as the leader of APC Delta North, he will welcome any new member/s to their great party because the more, the merrier.
Nwaoboshi said he will continue to defend the party’s integrity and democracy, and we will not be intimidated by the antics of any group or person(s) reemphasising that he will always ignite change and create a legacy of fairness and equity that will resonate for generations to come.
